CAD: Where are you from?

CARTEL: 1.) I was born in charleston,sc raised worldwide.Rnx2

CAD: Who were some of your early influences?

CARTEL: 2.) Kriss kross, big daddy kane, nas, tupac, james brown, al green Rnx2

CAD: How did your family moving around during your childhood affect your music?

CARTEL: 3.) It helped it because i got to expand and see to different cultures of music and diffrent types of styles which benifits my career now being versatile. Rnx2

CAD: Have you collaborated with any other Carolina artists?

CARTEL: 4.) I have from Lil Brod, Infa Blak, Big Phamlay, P Watts. Rnx2

CAD: What separates Carlos Cartel from other rappers?

CARTEL: 5.) My ability to recreate the street jungles and its predators along with it. Rnx2



CAD: Explain your experiences with Baby and Lil Wayne early in your career.

CARTEL: 6.) I met them in the mall i think i was 16, rapped for baby he invited me to the club to hear more, i was too young to get in so i waited in the rain for them; waited so long i feel alseep in the woods waiting on them. 6 months later a family moved in which consist of a boy who rap also and his parents grew up with baby and slim so we did the demo and his mother presented to baby and it ws on from there. CAD: What is your advice for young artists in the Carolinas?

CARTEL: 7.) Stay grinding and promote yourself, nobody is gonna look after your career like yourself and keep God first and before you be anything, you gotta be a MAN first. Rnx2

CAD: What projects are you currently working on?

CARTEL: 8.) I have the carlos cartel & 2pac "resurrected " mixtape and also the "Soulja Stories 2" album
